IMPORTANT PLACES

Welcome to the Éternal Spring. Tokyo has been ravished by its plantlife, freezing the city in a state of perpetual springtime. It may paint a picturesque scene but Tokyo is far from happy. Life is far from what it once was.

Take a moment to review some of the important places in our setting. You don't want to miss out how the pollen has changed the country for the worse.

SCHOOLS

JUUBAN MUNIPICAL SCHOOLS

Juuban's elementary and secondary schools. This is the only public school option available for students. Due to the pollination, the elementary and secondary schools have been condensed into one building. The school building itself is abandoned - however, classes are maintained in a large warehouse within the safe zones. Due to the food shortage, schools will not provide any meals. This school is in the worst shape, sometimes suffering from power outages and a lack of staff. When school is in session, students are encouraged to wear face masks and to move between classes quickly. Occasionally, school will be canceled for a "pollen day", meaning the pollination levels are too dangerous for the day.

Open to all students

Classes held in a warehouse

5 hour school days

Poor conditions

Under-staffed

MUGEN ACADEMY & RESEARCH

Mugen Academy and Research Facility was founded by Professor Tomoe, a formerly exiled scientist. With his promises to find solutions to the pollination problem, the government has put all their funding and trust into Mugen. For... the better? Mugen offers housing, unlimited food, and protection from the pollen for anyone who joins their workforce. Beware - while this may seem like a great option, it's very contractual. Mugen has no intentions of letting its precious test subjects students live freely. Attendees and staff are all given access ID badges which logs entrance into the facility. Those who attend and reside at Mugen are held to strict standards, they must maintain a perfect GPA and contribute to the school's research efforts through funding or workstudy. Any questionable student may be expelled or face the disciplinary action of the school's council.

Must be wealthy or ;

Must possess a genius IQ or ;

Must be a scientist or academic .

Must possess an "Access ID Badge" to use facilities.

Unlimited rations. Housing. Protection.

T·A GIRL'S ACADEMY

Formerly a private Catholic school for Tokyo's upperclass students. T · A is no longer operational due to it's vicinity to the poisoned land. T · A students may still receive private tutoring at home, for a substantial fee. Since the epidemic, the school has increased their religious studies with heavy emphasis on Catholicism. T · A teaches that the space flower is a part of the Doomsday Prophecy.

Available to the wealthy/elite

Private, in-home lessons

Very religious (Catholic)

SHIBA KOEN JR. HIGH

Shiba Koen was in the heart of the park, one of the principal areas lost to the pollen. A temporary school was resurrected inside of an old office building forty minutes outside of town. Students will have to find their own transportation and means to eat while at school. Sometimes, it's better not to go to school. When school is in session, students are encouraged to wear face masks and to move between classes quickly. Occasionally, school will be canceled for a "pollen day", meaning the pollination levels are too dangerous for the day.

Open to all students

Classes held in an abandoned office

7 hour school days (2 hours traveling)

Poor conditions

Lowest attendance

K.O UNIVERSITY

Funding for the university was quickly eliminated when Japan was isolated from the rest of the world. Without a robust student population, the college floundered. Not wanting the perfecting useful facilities to go to waste, Mugen assumed some ownership of the campus. K.O is able to operate on a limited basis under one condition : their graduates become employed at Mugen.

College/University aged students

Funded by Mugen Gaken

Rationed food and housing provided

Better conditions

Indebted to Mugen

MOTO AZABU BOY'S SCHOOL

Formerly a prestigious boy's school, the campus has been forced to relocate inside of , unofficially apart of Mugen's umbrella learning program

COMMUNITY

COMMUNAL + ENTERTAINMENT

The sad and tired people of Tokyo have strung together a few places to forget their sorrows. Food halls have become a new place to meet others. While black market taverns have started popping up dangerously close to the forbidden zone. Even in times of survival, the people need their outlets. TAIMU OUT! is a popular bar and longue located very close to Mugen.

GOVERNMENT FACILITIES

Kinesian is best at one thing, domination. It seems natural for the flower to want to infiltrate the government as well, starting with the lowest levels and working its way in. It can strip government officials of their autonomy in minutes. The question remains, who exactly is running the city? Kinesian or the Japanese?

GROCERIES, MARKET, MALLS

When the pollen rolled in, the first things to go were the crops, and after Japan isolated itself, food has become very scarce. Gone are the days of supermarkets and convenience stores. Malls have been largely abandoned and looted.

OUTDOOR RECREATION

It is strongly advised not to spend prolonged time outdoor! But you're going to do it anyways... The abandoned amusement parks seem to draw a lot of attention from the younger, rebellious crowd. However, it's also were the most teenagers have gone missing. People avoid parks now, for fear of encountering the deadly pollen.

SHINTO SHRINES

Many of the Shinto Shrines, including Hikawa Shrine have been temporarily closed for public safety. However when pollination levels are safe, the public is allowed to visit for a maximum of 1-2 hours a day. Visitors come with offerings daily to pray for the pollination to end.

LIVING + RESIDENCES

ABANDONED BUILDINGS

Sometimes, the camps are forced to turn away the needy. Homeless, they turn to buildings which left derelict from the pollination and looting. It is not uncommon to see the less fortunate making homes out of abandoned houses or shops. Most of these buildings aren't meant for living - trees grow erratically through them, vines and roots make finding comfort impossible. But... at least it's a place to rest one's head.

Any abandoned home or business

Usually very poor citizens

Dangerous, open to attack and bugulary

CAMPING DISTRICTS

Those who have lost their homes have been relocated into government maintained Camping Zones. Each zone has one medical building, a communal kitchen, and several tenements. The tenements are poorly kept, often experiencing water or electrical issues.

Apartment buildings for anyone

Rationed communal dining

Water and electrical shortages

Poor conditions

TORIO 3 APARTMENTS

These are the three buildings surrounding the Mugen Academy. Lodging is accessible to Mugen staff and students only; however, if one were to pay a very pretty penny... Entrance can be granted with the Access ID badge. Torio 3 never loses electricity and none of their amneties have been affected. The cost to own has tripled in price. There are dining facilities, vending machines, and a small cafe within the apartment complex. Professor Tomoe and his family reside within one of the buildings. The Outer Senshi have each taken residence in one of the three buildings.

Must be at Mugen or very wealthy

Dining options

Under 24/7 survellaince

Luxury living

PRIVATE RESIDENCES

It seems natural that the wealthy are the last to suffer. Those with the means to afford increased protection, constant electricity, food, and amneties are able to keep their homes. This is Tokyo's elite upperclass. Their mansions and estates go virtually untouched, save for the persistent flowers that grow everywhere now. But should they be so fortunate? There are many politicians within the small percentage of the wealthy. Their minds are attractive candidates for the kinesian's takeover. Sometimes, a wealthy family just up and abandons their homes.

Wealthy Elite

Private estates with food and housing

Targeted by the Kinesian Blossom

Excellent conditions
