Rin let out a soft sigh, settling down in her little corner of the kitchen. It had been bugging her for a while now but there wasn't much she could do, she didn't remember anything that had happened a few days ago. All she knew from the news reports was that a buss had turned over, but she didn't even remember that. She rubbed her head in thought, reaching for and grabbing her bottle of water. She frowned to herself, shaking her head as she rubbed her temple. Just thinking about it brought on a headache, almost as if something was blocking the memories from coming forward.
<p>
She glanced over at the guitar currently sitting on it's stand, her eyes flicking over the strings. <font color='0040ff'>"Starting to rust a little... looks about time to restring you,"</font> she whispered to herself, shaking her head a little. She reached over and grabbed the guitar, gently lifting it into her lap, strumming a few notes and tuning the instrument perfectly by ear. She tilted her head a bit as she pulled the mic stand closer, lowering it. She'd been standing most of the day so taking the chance to sit and sing was going to be a nice change of pace.
<p>
Rin let out a sigh before strumming a few chords, she reached over to where her phone was sitting, turning the dials for volume and shrugging her shoulders a little before starting up the accompaniment. She started all of her "gigs" with the same <u><a href='https://youtu.be/CWe005HIn6I'>song</a></u> and this one was going to be no different from the last. She let a smile cross her features, trying to show at least some confidence as she let herself become absorbed in the performance.

Rin set up the small musical area she had requested. It wasn't much, a small sound system, an amp for the rustic guitar she now had in her hands, and a mic stand with her phone setup to play the accompaniment. She didn't have a band so she needed to do things herself, it was annoying but she knew that simple acoustics couldn't always bring people joy, she needed a more modern sound in this bleak florapocalypse. Before everything had happened she'd already started toying with synthesizers for fun, but now she was able to put her music to use. She took a moment to silently start tuning the guitar, glancing around nervously as she caught glances. Sure, she'd been at this for a week now but that didn't make the attention any easier.
<p>
She didn't care as much as she used to though, people needed help, they needed a song or two to uplift their spirits, to not be broken by the pollen slowly engulfing the nation, and who knew if it wouldn't happen to the world. she finished tuning the guitar, glancing around before checking volumes, making sure they were loud enough to be heard but not overbearing. She didn't want to interrupt people, just give them background noise, something new to listen to. She adjusted her stance, placing her hands on the strings, her fingers brushing gently down their length. She was lucky she had bought plenty of strings with her run in with Michiru.
<p>
With a silent strum and a light tap of her phone screen she started playing, her voice ringing out softly through the kitchen, causing people to stop and turn, looking at the young talented artist as she closed her eyes, focusing on no one else but herself. As long as she imagined she was at home, singing alone she could continue doing this. She'd have looked for a small group to travel with and work as a band otherwise.

In her past life, Celeste was a medic using a combination of advanced medical practices and her songs, which helped speed up the healing process considerably. In the modern era, Rin finds herself using her songs to inspire hope and raise moral of the camps around Tokyo, having recently decided to travel from camp to camp on a daily basis and spend an hour or two playing. Though she has yet to awaken she has a natural gift for music and quickly picks up various instruments she's presented with.<p>

        <h2>FRIENDS.</h2>
Despite her history of friendliness, Rin is quiet and reserved nowadays and this doesnt look to be changing anytime soon. She sticks to herself, going out and about but avoiding people as best as she can. Due to this it makes it very hard for her to open up and be friendly with anyone, the only way you can really get to this point is by forcing yourself into her life and even then it's highly possible that she'll reject you for a while. This is despite her constant traveling now, she normally is keeping to herself while in camps, only doing the bare minimum in interactions. <p>
        <h2>ENEMIES.</h2>
Is this something someone so quiet can even make? Unless you count the enemies of the moon that she hasn't even been awakened to this is not something that will come up easily in her simple life. Maybe once she has awakened things will change, no definitely once she awakens. This little girl will step up as essentially a bard, buffing her allies and dishing out pain when she needs to herself.
        <h2>OTHERS.</h2>
Two words. Good. Luck. With a girl who had her heartbroken the way it was, opening her heart back up will be next to impossible. Unless you have the patience to slowly scrape away at her shell and don't try to rush anything, then you may have a chance but even then she will probably continue avoiding the subject for a long time.

Rin's eyes trailed over the music store's offerings, her eyes settling on each instrument curiously. Most of the instruments she'd have trouble using, sadly. It was hard to find left handed instruments, a fact that made her happy her grandparents had found such a nice guitar for her to learn on. The left handed, semi-hollow Fender rested firmly on her back in it's bag, strings broken from use. She didn't know what to do as far as replacing them went, but she could at least learn that much from something like YouTube. What strings to get, however, was a different story. Her eyes trailed along the instruments for a few more minutes before she tore her eyes away, glancing back down at the racks before her. The store was big, but then again what else could she have expected from a place along what was called "Guitar Street" by most people? It wasn't like it was lacking in music stores and the like, but it was a little overwhelming. <BR>
<P>
Back in Kyoto there were really only three major stores with a few mom and pop shops lining the occasional street corner. Though she wasn't really big into the music scene at that time they were fun to just browse through and occasionally try out an instrument or two. She more often spent her time at the kendo dojo, keeping up her game so that neither of her friends could get too far ahead of her. She shook off the thoughts of home, letting out a barely audible sigh before her eyes settled back onto what she had come here for. Strings.<BR>
<P>
There were a lot of them, and that instantly made her freeze for a moment. What kind of strings was she supposed to get for her guitar? Did it even matter? How much of a difference did one brand or style make against a different brand and style? She took a few steps back, looking at the different brands and styles for a moment before breathing out softly in frustration. <font color='#0040ff'>"Maybe I should have done a little bit of research first... what am I supposed to get here?"</font> she mumbled a little louder than she meant to. She hated not knowing something, and this ne being so obvious she was slapping herself mentally over it. She could always pull out her phone but that would only make it more obvious as to how lost she was on the subject. She was supposed to be good at music, better than most yet she couldn't figure out this simple dilemma.
